AbbVie and EvolveImmune Therapeutics have announced a strategic partnership to develop next-generation cancer biotherapeutics.
This collaboration aims to address the significant unmet need for effective treatments in oncology.
EvolveImmune's proprietary EVOLVE platform will be central to this partnership. This platform is designed to enhance the body's immune response against tumors, specifically targeting T-cells and stimulating their activity.
By doing so, the platform aims to overcome challenges associated with current immunotherapies, such as resistance and limited efficacy.
The partnership will provide EvolveImmune with substantial financial support and validation from a global pharmaceutical leader. AbbVie will invest $65 million upfront and up to $1.4 billion in potential milestone payments, along with royalties on future sales.
