Alcami Corporation, a prominent contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), has recently formed a strategic partnership with Tanvex CDMO, a biologics developer offering a range of services from pre-clinical to commercial biologic CDMO services. This collaboration enables both companies to provide clients with a comprehensive solution covering bulk drug substance production to finished drug product. Alcami brings its expertise in liquid and lyophilization sterile filling, packaging, and labeling, while Tanvex contributes its high-throughput bulk drug substance development and manufacturing services.
With the addition of Alcami's sterile fill-finish capabilities and capacity, Tanvex customers now have the option to transfer their bulk drug substance to a trusted GMP partner for clinical and commercial production and packaging. Alcami's capabilities include formulation development, release and stability testing, sterile liquid and lyo vial, and liquid syringe filling, among others, which have supported the successful launch of over 50 commercial products.
