Astellas Pharma, BioLabs, and Mitsui Fudosan Collaborate to Enhance Life Science Ecosystems in Japan

Astellas, BioLabs, and Mitsui Fudosan have jointly established a memorandum of understanding to enhance the life science ecosystem in Japan.
This collaborative effort between Astellas and Mitsui Fudosan aims to boost the development of the planned life science ecosystem in Tsukuba, Kashiwa-no-ha, and the surrounding regions.
This agreement enables BioLabs to leverage its expertise to ensure smooth facility management in support of Astellas. Moreover, it also aims for a shared vision for laboratories in Tsukuba and Kashiwa-no-ha to become hubs where innovative ideas and specialised knowledge converge, catalysing the advancement of groundbreaking healthcare solutions.
BioLabs partnership with Astellas and Mitsui Fudosan marks a significant step in the expansion of its global presence in Japan. With a common purpose of hastening the commercialisation of groundbreaking innovations that enhance patient well-being, this collaboration aims for the growth of the life science innovation ecosystem in the Tsukuba area.
