Biocytogen Enters into Collaboration with Whitehawk Therapeutics for Bispecific Antibody-Drug Conjugate Development

Wednesday, July 08, 2026

Biocytogen has entered into a global collaboration with Whitehawk Therapeutics to develop bispecific antibody-drug conjugates (BsADCs) for cancer treatment.

Under the agreement, Biocytogen will provide up to five bispecific antibodies developed using its proprietary RenLite® platform, while Whitehawk will evaluate these candidates using its antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) linker-payload technologies. Whitehawk will have the option to advance any successful BsADC candidates into its development pipeline.

The RenLite® platform is designed with a common light-chain approach, enabling the discovery, screening and optimisation of fully human bispecific antibodies across a wide range of targets. The platform also helps reduce the risk of light-chain mispairing, providing a reliable foundation for BsADC development.

The collaboration combines Biocytogen’s expertise in antibody discovery with Whitehawk’s capabilities in ADC technology and oncology drug development. The companies aim to identify BsADC candidates with improved targeting characteristics and therapeutic potential for cancer.

Under the agreement, Biocytogen will receive an upfront payment and may earn development, regulatory and commercial milestone payments, along with low single-digit royalties on future net sales.

Whitehawk will obtain global rights and full programme control of any BsADC candidates it chooses to advance. Financial details beyond these terms have not been disclosed.
