Celltrion has announced plans to acquire iQone Healthcare Switzerland.
The acquisition is anticipated to be finalised by the fourth quarter of 2024.
Following the completion of the transaction, iQone Healthcare Switzerland will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Celltrion Healthcare Hungary Kft.
This move aligns with Celltrion’s strategy to expand its footprint in Europe and enhance its portfolio of innovative therapies through licensing opportunities.
The acquisition is expected to support Celltrion's efforts to compete in the evolving biosimilar market by leveraging an extensive distribution network that spans over 20 regions.
