Debiopharm and Alkyon Therapeutics Collaborate to Develop Advanced Radioligand Therapies
Friday, June 13, 2025
Debiopharm has entered into a co-research agreement with US-based Alkyon Therapeutics.
The partnership aims to explore the potential of developing targeted radioligand therapies (RLTs) by combining Debiopharm’s AbYlink™ conjugation technology with Alkyon’s modular antibody platform.
The collaboration will focus on designing a new generation of radioligand therapies that deliver radiation precisely to cancer cells, while reducing harm to healthy tissues. This approach is intended to improve treatment effectiveness and tolerability, particularly for patients with hard-to-treat solid tumours.
AbYlink™ technology allows for site-specific conjugation that avoids interference with the antibody's binding site. This feature supports a more consistent manufacturing process and enhances the precision of radiopharmaceutical delivery.
Both companies aim to leverage their respective technologies to expand the possibilities of RLTs and develop more targeted treatment options for oncology.
