DKSH and Kyowa Kirin Form Strategic Alliance for Expansion in Asia-Pacific

DKSH Business Unit Healthcare, a prominent provider of Market Expansion Services for pharmaceuticals, OTC, consumer health, and medical devices, has announced a new strategic partnership with Kyowa Kirin Co., Ltd. (TSE:4151), a global specialty pharmaceutical firm based in Japan. This collaboration is part of Kyowa Kirin’s strategy to expand its footprint in the Asia-Pacific region.
Under the partnership, DKSH will handle the promotion and distribution of Kyowa Kirin’s established medicine portfolio across South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Hong Kong & Macau. Additionally, DKSH will manage the distribution of global products Crysvita® and Poteligeo® in specific markets, including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Hong Kong & Macau.
DKSH, known for its extensive integrated solutions and expertise in nephrology, will adopt a full agency alliance business model to enhance patient care and accessibility. This partnership leverages DKSH’s robust distribution networks and commercial strengths to improve healthcare access in these regions.
