Er-Kim Enters into Agreement with Sentynl Therapeutics to Distribute Nulibry® and Zokinvy® in Europe

Thursday, September 25, 2025

Er-Kim has entered into a commercialisation agreement with Sentynl Therapeutics to distribute Nulibry® (fosdenopterin) and Zokinvy® (lonafarnib) in several countries across Central and Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean, and Eurasia.

Nulibry is the only authorised treatment for reducing the risk of death in patients with molybdenum cofactor deficiency (MoCD) Type A, a rare and life-threatening genetic disorder. The condition usually presents at birth, progresses quickly, and can cause severe neurological damage and early death if untreated.

Zokinvy is the sole approved therapy for Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome (HGPS) and some forms of Progeroid Laminopathies known as processing-deficient Progeroid Laminopathies (PDPL). These disorders cause the body to produce harmful proteins, leading to rapid ageing and heart problems at a young age.

Both medicines are the only EMA and FDA-approved therapies for their respective conditions.

Under the agreement, Er-Kim will manage the distribution of both medicines in 33 countries, including Poland, Greece, Turkey, Czechia, Romania, Kazakhstan, and Russia.

The collaboration aims to improve access to essential treatments for patients living with ultra-rare diseases across a wide geographic area.
