Flagship Pioneering and Quotient Therapeutics Forge Agreement to Discover Novel Targets

Quotient Therapeutics and Pioneering Medicines, Flagship Pioneering's internal drug development unit, have embarked on a collaborative research initiative aimed at identifying somatic mutations in genes that influence the progression of cardiovascular and renal diseases.
This collaboration, part of the ongoing strategic partnership between Flagship Pioneering and Pfizer, will leverage Quotient's Somatic Genomics platform to explore genetic diversity within diseased patient tissue. The insights gained from this analysis are expected to inform the discovery and development of new therapies targeting these conditions.
Under the terms of the partnership, Pioneering Medicines will lead the research efforts with Quotient, building on the strategic alliance established between Flagship and Pfizer in July 2023. The joint research programs with Quotient mark a significant step forward in this collaboration, which is focused on accelerating the development of innovative drug therapies.
