FRONTEO Co., Ltd. and Axcelead Drug Discovery Partners Co., Ltd. have recently entered into a foundational partnership agreement to enhance AI-driven support for drug discovery. FRONTEO specializes in the "Drug Discovery AI Factory" business, providing services that enhance the efficiency, speed, and success rates of drug discovery using their proprietary AI technology for generating hypotheses in drug research and development. In contrast, Axcelead DDP possesses the vital platform capabilities required for drug discovery and supports drug discovery research for various stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, bioventures, academic institutions, and government research bodies. This partnership agreement enables collaboration between FRONTEO's AI-driven hypothesis generation capabilities and Axcelead DDP's drug discovery platform in forming hypotheses through both dry research (computer and AI-based data analysis) and wet research (involving laboratory work with cells and animals). This collaborative approach allows for the efficient testing and validation of these hypotheses using biological experiments.
