Helix Signs Multi-Year Strategic Collaboration with GSK to Support Precision Medicine Development
Thursday, January 08, 2026
Helix has entered into a multi-year strategic collaboration with GSK to support the development of precision medicine across a broad range of disease areas.
As part of the agreement, GSK will gain access to Helix’s expanding GenoSphere™ cohorts. These cohorts include deeply phenotyped genomic and long-term clinical data, enabling large-scale research to better understand disease biology and support drug discovery and development.
The GenoSphere™ cohorts combine Exome+® genomic data with longitudinal clinical information, supported by third-party medical, pharmacy, and mortality claims data. The datasets are designed to support life sciences research across the full development cycle and are powered by the Helix Research Network®, one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing precision health networks.
The collaboration will help GSK strengthen the use of genetics and genomics in its research and development decision-making. By integrating Helix’s data platform, GSK aims to improve understanding of disease causes and accelerate the discovery, development, and delivery of new medicines.
For Helix, the agreement highlights the scale and depth of its genomics platform and reinforces its role in advancing precision medicine by supporting drug development across multiple therapeutic areas.
