Huahui Health signs global agreement with BeOne Medicines for oncology drug HH160
Thursday, April 30, 2026
Huahui Health has entered into a global exclusive option, licence and collaboration agreement with BeOne Medicines for HH160, a novel trispecific antibody designed for cancer immunotherapy. The agreement grants BeOne Medicines an exclusive option to develop, manufacture and commercialise the therapy worldwide.
Under the terms of the deal, Huahui Health will receive an upfront payment of USD 20 million. If BeOne Medicines exercises its option, an additional USD 100 million will be paid. Huahui Health is also eligible for up to USD 1.9 billion in milestone payments linked to development, regulatory approvals and sales, along with tiered royalties on net sales. Both companies have also agreed to continue discussions on potential future investment by BeOne Medicines in Huahui Health, with details to be finalised separately.
HH160 is being developed using Huahui Health’s proprietary multispecific antibody platform. The therapy targets PD-1, CTLA-4 and VEGF-A, three well-established pathways in cancer treatment. This combined approach is intended to improve treatment effectiveness, enhance tumour-specific delivery and reduce side effects.
The agreement will support further development of HH160, including advancing the candidate towards clinical stages. Preclinical data for the drug were presented at the American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting 2025.
Huahui Health continues to expand its pipeline across oncology and liver diseases, supported by its in-house research and development capabilities. The company already has one approved product and several programmes in mid-stage clinical development.
In January 2026, China’s National Medical Products Administration granted conditional approval to Libevitug injection for the treatment of chronic hepatitis D in adults. The therapy, a monoclonal antibody targeting viral entry mechanisms, represents a first-in-class treatment and addresses a significant unmet medical need. A global Phase III trial for the product is currently in progress.
Overall, the collaboration is expected to strengthen the development of innovative immuno-oncology therapies and support broader access to new treatment options worldwide.
