IntoCell and Xcellon Biologics Sign MoU to Broaden Access to Next-Generation ADC Technologies

Saturday, November 01, 2025

IntoCell Inc. a biotechnology company developing advanced payload and linker technologies for antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs), has entered into a strategic collaboration with Xcellon Biologics, a U.S.-based contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) specialising in ADCs and complex biologics. The partnership aims to enhance ADC development and manufacturing capabilities.

Under the agreement, IntoCell’s proprietary OHPAS drug-linker platform, which includes Duocarmycin and Nexatecan-based payloads, will be incorporated into Xcellon Biologics’ ADC development toolbox. Xcellon will provide bioconjugation, ADC development, and manufacturing services to support biotech and pharmaceutical companies using IntoCell’s technologies in their development programmes.

The collaboration seeks to accelerate the availability of next-generation ADC technologies by combining IntoCell’s advanced chemistry platforms with Xcellon’s CDMO expertise and infrastructure in the United States. This integrated approach is expected to help global innovators develop differentiated ADC therapies more efficiently.

The partnership aligns with both companies’ shared goal of expanding access to high-quality ADC technologies and providing a streamlined route from discovery through to manufacturing, ultimately supporting the advancement of novel targeted therapies.
