IQVIA Enters into Collaboration with AWS for Next-Generation AI Platform

IQVIA has announced a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), selecting AWS as its Preferred Agentic Cloud Provider to support the development of its next-generation AI platform.
The announcement was made during AWS re:Invent and reflects a significant step in the digital transformation of healthcare and life sciences.
Through this partnership, IQVIA will run its AI platform on AWS to enable secure, scalable and intelligent automation across clinical trial operations, medical affairs and healthcare analytics. The aim is to streamline trial processes, strengthen clinical automation and improve the speed and quality of data-driven insights.
Both organisations already support many of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies in advancing digital transformation. The collaboration is expected to help broaden access to AI technologies within life sciences, supporting faster drug development and improving global patient access to new treatments.
The agreement highlights the growing role of agentic AI in the sector, with cloud-based systems expected to enhance efficiency, drive innovation and contribute to better healthcare outcomes worldwide.
