Kling Bio and Sanofi Partner to Accelerate Discovery of Neutralising Antibodies

Friday, July 25, 2025

Kling Bio has announced a new collaboration and licence option agreement with Sanofi.

The partnership will focus on discovering neutralising antibodies and viral epitopes using Kling Bio’s proprietary B cell technology platform, Kling-Select.

Kling-Select is a clinically and commercially validated B cell immortalisation and screening platform. It uses patient-derived B cells to quickly identify novel antibodies and conserved viral epitopes. This approach supports the rapid development of vaccines and therapeutic solutions. The platform’s function-first screening method has proven effective in identifying rare and potent immune targets, with previously validated antibody candidates against RSV, COVID-19, and influenza.

The collaboration aims to discover and study monoclonal antibodies with strong neutralising activity against a specific human viral pathogen. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of new antiviral treatments and help design more effective vaccines.
Through this agreement, Kling Bio’s technology will be combined with Sanofi’s experience in vaccine development to support the advancement of next-generation therapeutic and preventive solutions.
