Lupin Enters into Agreement with Sino Universal Pharmaceuticals for Tiotropium DPI in China

Lupin has entered into a license and supply agreement with Sino Universal Pharmaceuticals (SUP) for the commercialisation of Tiotropium Dry Powder Inhaler (DPI), 18 mcg/capsule, in China.
The product is intended for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Under the terms of the agreement, SUP will be responsible for securing regulatory approvals to market the inhaler in China. Lupin will hold the marketing authorisation and manage the manufacturing of the product.
Tiotropium DPI is recognised for its ability to improve lung function and enhance the quality of life for individuals with respiratory conditions. This collaboration allows Lupin to expand its presence in the Chinese market and address the growing demand for effective respiratory therapies.
