MGI Tech has announced the global launch of its new CycloneSEQ-WT02* and CycloneSEQ-WY01* sequencing products, designed to expand their portfolio of genomics technologies.
The CycloneSEQ™ system features enhanced motor and nanopore proteins for efficient DNA sequencing, improved flow cell designs, and an optimised basecalling algorithm that achieves 97% accuracy. These advances enable the platform to deliver reliable and high-throughput results, with applications ranging from genetic screening to environmental and cancer research.
CycloneSEQ™ technology integrates advancements in protein engineering, flow cell design, and basecalling algorithms, enabling higher accuracy and throughput in sequencing.
CycloneSEQ™ with MGI’s DNBSEQ™ platform provides a comprehensive range of multi-omics capabilities, including single-cell sequencing and spatial omics.
Both CycloneSEQ-WT02 and CycloneSEQ-WY01 are equipped for long-read sequencing, with the WT02 supporting dual-flow cell architecture for fast sequencing, and the WY01 offering ultra-high throughput for real-time testing. They are expected to be available in select markets by the end of 2024, with further expansions planned for 2025.
