Nosis Biosciences and Daiichi Sankyo Partner to Advance RNA-Based Therapies
Wednesday, March 12, 2025
Nosis Biosciences has entered into a research collaboration and option agreement with Daiichi Sankyo.
The Connexa™ platform enables RNA medicines to target a wide range of cell types across vital organs such as the heart, brain, lungs, kidneys, and muscles. By advancing beyond traditional liver-targeted therapies, this approach aims to improve treatment options for chronic diseases where effective solutions remain limited.
This partnership will utilise Nosis' Connexa™ platform, an AI-driven drug design and delivery system, to develop RNA-based treatments for conditions affecting multiple organs beyond the liver.
RNA-based therapies have significant potential for addressing genetic conditions but often face delivery challenges. The Connexa™ platform addresses these barriers by integrating AI-powered drug design, single-cell receptor biology, and high-throughput chemistry.
It has identified more than 2,900 receptor targets across 532 cell types, allowing for precise delivery and optimised therapeutic effects.
This collaboration is expected to support the development of precision RNA medicines that could enhance treatment options for a range of diseases.
