Nxera Pharma and Antiverse have joined forces to develop novel antibody therapies targeting G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) using artificial intelligence.
This collaboration leverages Antiverse's advanced generative AI technology, including its proprietary machine-learning generated 'epitope-specific libraries', and Nxera's NxWave™ platform, a powerful tool for identifying and characterizing GPCRs.
The partnership aims to develop groundbreaking treatments for various diseases with significant unmet medical needs.
The initial focus of the collaboration will be on designing antibodies with agonistic properties for a challenging GPCR target.
Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, Antiverse will receive an upfront payment and research funding, as well as potential milestone payments.
Nxera will retain exclusive worldwide rights to develop and commercialize the resulting antibody candidates.
