Orion and Glykos Collaboration for Development of Next-Generation ADCs

Orion and Glykos Finland Oy have announced the extension of their existing research collaboration and licensing agreement focused on the development of next-generation antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
The extended agreement gives Orion access to Glykos’ proprietary ADC technologies for three additional programmes, building on the three covered in the original agreement. Orion will oversee target selection, research, development, and future commercialisation of the new ADCs, with a focus on treating solid tumours.
The financial terms for the three new ADC projects remain unchanged from those set in the initial agreement. Glykos will continue to receive milestone payments linked to development progress and future product sales, along with royalties from the commercialised ADCs.
This extension reflects the continued interest in advanced ADC technologies as a promising approach in cancer treatment and reinforces the collaborative efforts between the two companies in advancing oncology research.
