PeptiDream and Genentech Enter into Collaboration and Licence Agreement

PeptiDream announced a new and extensive collaboration and licencing agreement with Genentech, marking a significant step forward in the field of macrocyclic peptide-radioisotope ("peptide-RI") drug conjugates.
This agreement is dedicated to the discovery and advancement of novel macrocyclic peptides for use in peptide-RI drug conjugates, with a focus on specific targets of interest to Genentech.
Under this agreement, PeptiDream will utilise its advanced peptide discovery platform system ("PDPS") technology to identify, refine, and develop promising macrocyclic peptide candidates.
In addition to the upfront payment, PeptiDream has the potential to earn substantial additional payments linked to predefined milestones, including those related to development, regulatory approvals, and commercialisation. These milestone payments could accumulate to an impressive sum of up to $1 billion USD (¥147.7 billion JPY).
This partnership leverages PeptiDream's expertise in peptide discovery and optimisation with Genentech's formidable clinical development and commercialisation capabilities. The ultimate goal is to jointly introduce pioneering, first-in-class peptide radiopharmaceuticals to patients on a global scale, enhancing healthcare and treatment options worldwide.
