PredxBio Enters into Partnership with Hamamatsu Photonics to Advance Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development
Tuesday, April 29, 2025
PredxBio has partnered with Hamamatsu Photonics to bring cutting-edge spatial biology solutions to cancer research and immuno-oncology.
This collaboration combines Hamamatsu’s MoxiePlex™ multiplex immunofluorescence imaging system with PredxBio’s SpaceIQ™ spatial analytics platform, creating an integrated workflow aimed at supporting both basic and translational research.
The MoxiePlex™ system, launched in late 2024, is designed to capture up to 10 fluorescent markers simultaneously, allowing for precise spatial mapping of proteins on cancer and immune cells within the tumour microenvironment. This system is built to meet the complex demands of spatial proteomics research, all while maintaining ease of use. While currently intended for research purposes, MoxiePlex™ may be further developed for clinical applications, particularly for immunotherapy response profiling.
By combining the imaging power of MoxiePlex™ with SpaceIQ™'s multi-modal analytics, this partnership aims to streamline workflows from image capture to actionable insights. Researchers can now access enhanced capabilities for spatial immune cell profiling, pathway activation analysis, and biomarker stratification with greater speed, accuracy, and scalability.
The partnership is dedicated to making spatial proteomics more accessible and advancing cancer research. The integrated solution supports proteomic data analysis, which is essential for translational research, biomarker validation, and clinical trial optimisation.
This collaboration is set to enhance the resolution of biological data, providing deeper insights into disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic developments.
