Repligen Enters into Partnership with Novasign to Strengthen Bioprocessing Digitalisation

Repligen has entered into a strategic partnership with Novasign, aiming to enhance digitalisation in bioprocessing by integrating advanced modelling capabilities into its filtration systems.
As part of the collaboration, Repligen will also invest in Novasign to support the company’s growth and operational expansion.
The partnership focuses on embedding Novasign’s machine learning and modelling workflow into Repligen’s tangential flow filtration (TFF) systems. This integration is expected to improve Repligen’s portfolio of process analytical technology (PAT)-enabled solutions and support the development of AI-driven tools. These developments will help streamline process development, enable real-time predictive control, and reduce both development time and costs by using digital twin technologies.
Novasign offers expertise in bioprocessing, software engineering, and modelling. Its flexible, AI-powered solutions are designed to provide insights across various stages of bioprocessing, including cultivation, harvest, filtration, and chromatography. The models are adaptable to different products and production scales, allowing for smarter development, better control, and reduced risk.
This collaboration builds on previous joint efforts between the two companies and marks a step forward in their shared commitment to advancing smart, digital biomanufacturing systems.
