Tevogen Bio Partners with Microsoft to Speed Up Drug Development using AI

Friday, November 01, 2024

Tevogen Bio has announced a partnership with Microsoft to utilise machine learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to accelerate their drug development process.

Firstly, Tevogen.AI will leverage machine learning to analyse vast datasets across the human genome. This analysis will be based on successful results from Tevogen's TVGN 489 trial and is expected to significantly speed up and improve the identification of potential drug targets.

Secondly, the partnership will see Tevogen.AI utilise Microsoft's advanced AI tools to develop proprietary algorithms. These algorithms will focus on deciphering the complex interactions between human leukocyte antigens (HLAs) and T cells.

This deeper understanding of the immune system's response could lead to the discovery of new treatment options, particularly for diseases with limited existing data.

This collaboration, led by Tevogen's AI initiative, Tevogen.AI, aims to achieve two key goals.

Tevogen highlights the collaboration with Microsoft as a significant step forward. By leveraging Microsoft's expertise in AI, Tevogen.AI can build robust data pipelines and apply machine learning models to expedite target selection for new drugs.

Additionally, the refined data will be used to develop predictive AI technology, allowing Tevogen to address previously unseen interactions within the immune system.

This partnership is expected to result in a 10% reduction in preclinical development timelines initially, with the potential for further automation leading to a 30% reduction. Faster development processes combined with improved accuracy are expected to translate into significant cost savings.

Ultimately, Tevogen believes this collaboration will allow them to bring life-saving therapies to market quicker and at a lower cost.
