VALANX Biotech and Fina Biosolutions have joined forces to develop a new product, ClickCRM, designed to streamline the production of conjugate vaccines.
ClickCRM is a modified version of the widely used carrier protein CRM197. It has been engineered to incorporate specific chemical groups that facilitate precise conjugation with antigens.
This innovative product will enable the rapid and efficient conjugation of polysaccharide antigens to carrier proteins, leading to the development of more effective vaccines against bacterial infections.
This approach, combined with advanced synthetic biology techniques, allows for the creation of conjugate vaccines with improved immunogenicity and efficacy.
The two companies will collaborate on the production and commercialization of ClickCRM. VALANX will utilize its proprietary platform technology to incorporate non-natural amino acids into the protein, while Fina Biosolutions will handle the purification and formulation processes.
