WuXi Biologics and Hangzhou DAC have entered into a research service agreement with Aadi Bioscience for three novel preclinical antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
These ADC assets were developed through the combined expertise of WuXi Biologics and Hangzhou DAC, who utilised WuXi's advanced antibody discovery platform and Hangzhou DAC's innovative linker-payload technology.
Under the terms of the agreement, Aadi Bioscience will make upfront payments of $44 million to WuXi Biologics and Hangzhou DAC for the three ADCs.
Aadi will also be required to make additional milestone payments, which could total up to $265 million for development milestones and $540 million for commercial milestones. Furthermore, royalties will be paid on sales of the products.
WuXi Biologics will support Aadi Bioscience in the discovery of precision cancer therapies, with the aim of advancing these promising assets into clinical development. This collaboration highlights WuXi’s role as an industry leader in providing integrated discovery technology solutions to global partners.
Hangzhou DAC also sees this partnership as a step forward in their strategy to develop more innovative ADCs, benefiting from Aadi Bioscience’s expertise in clinical development and precision oncology.
