Zonsen PepLib Biotech Enters into Collaboration With Lilly For Peptide-based Drug Development

Zonsen PepLib Biotech has entered into a global research and development collaboration and licensing agreement with Eli Lilly and Company.
The partnership will focus on the discovery and development of new peptide-based drug candidates.
As part of the collaboration, PepLib will use its proprietary peptide libraries and discovery platforms to screen and identify promising peptide molecules. Lilly will take responsibility for further development activities, including IND-enabling studies, clinical development, and global commercialisation.
Under the agreement, PepLib will receive upfront and near-term payments. The company is also eligible for additional payments linked to development progress, regulatory approvals, and commercial milestones, along with tiered royalties on future worldwide net sales.
The collaboration reflects growing interest in PepLib’s peptide research capabilities and combines its discovery expertise with Lilly’s global development and commercial strengths, with the aim of advancing new therapeutic options for patients worldwide.
