BioSpark Labs Invests US$6 million to Open New Facility in Atlanta, USA

Introduction:
BioSpark Labs has invested US$6 million facility to support life sciences research in the Atlanta, USA.

Features:
The new facility now boasts a total usable footprint of 17,000 square feet. Within this space, five equipment rooms have been added, featuring US$1.5 million worth of shared life science research equipment. 

The facility includes advanced capabilities for flow cytometry, fluorescent imaging, real-time PCR testing, and cell culture.

The expansion also features a sizable shared laboratory, alongside two medium-sized and eight smaller private laboratories. 

In addition to these state-of-the-art research spaces, supplementary work areas and storage facilities have been incorporated to both entice and facilitate emerging researchers and to promote commercialisation within the bioscience industry. Furthermore, the additional cleanrooms are anticipated to become operational in early 2024.

Phase one, encompassing the Science Square Labs building, the apartment community, and a new parking deck, is on track for its scheduled completion in March 2024.
