Catalent Invests US$2.2 million to Open New Clinical Supply Facility

Introduction:

Catalent plans to invest US$2.2 million to open new clinical supply facility. The new site will be located at Singapore.

Features:

This new addition of clinical supply facility will be completely dedicated to support increased temperature-controlled capabilities.

The facility will increase the current footprint of the site by nearly 20 per cent to 31,000 square feetwith the addition of 35 new freezers installation for ultra-low temperature (ULT) storage. In addition, the new facility will also allow specialized secondary packaging capabilities for ULT productsand also extending their supporttohuge packaging campaigns.

The site consists of the capacity to handle biopharmaceuticals and advanced modalities, including mRNA-based vaccines, and cell and gene therapies.

The new site will offer a wide range of services to customers in over 20 countries in the region and serves as the main supply hub for Asian market.
