Introduction:
Clean Cells with an investment of US$14.7 million (€13 million) plans to open new production site located in Montaigu-Vendée.
Features:
The new production site laid with an area covering 5,300m2 and significantly increases its production capacity of cell banks for vaccines, therapeutic antibodies and gene therapies.
The facility will be dedicated for biopharmaceuticals quality control services and production of cell banks for innovative drugs.
The construction of the production site started in July 2021 and expected to complete in September 2022.
The new biopharmaceutical production site is expected to create 80 new jobs including engineers, technicians as well as roles in scientific, logistical, administrative and sales support.
