Colorcon announced its plans to build a new starch manufacturing unit in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Features:
This new facility is planned to double the existing manufacturing capacity for Starch 1500®, Pregelatinised Maize Starch, supporting the continued growth of Colorcon’s excipient business across the world.
The plant will provide a secure second source of supply with the same quality, consistency and equivalency to the product manufactured in our existing facility.
New plant is located in the heart of Europe near the port Rotterdam; the facility will produce GMP starch products for the pharmaceutical and nutritional markets.
The facility is expected to be operational by 2022.
