Introduction:
FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies has started the expansion of its North Carolina facility expansion project.
Features:
The 31,778 square foot addition will increase cell culture manufacturing by approximately 25 per cent and microbial capacity by approximately 50 per cent with the installation of new recovery and purification suites. A new receiving warehouse is also included in the project.
This project will enable to further increase its capacity to efficiently meet current and future customer demands in a modern facility.
The company expects that the increased production capacity for cGMP manufacture will be ready by mid-2021.
