Integrated DNA Technologies plans to open new state-of-the-art synthetic biology hub in Lowa, USA.


This expansion marks a significant enhancement of its synthetic biology operations, doubling its footprint to cover 25,000 square feet in this vital field.

The expansion of synthetic biology manufacturing operations adds significant capacity and lays the foundation for the future growth of the synthetic biology product portfolio.

The state-of-the-art facility features an array of cutting-edge amenities designed to foster innovation. Over half of the facility's area is dedicated to advanced synthetic biology lab spaces, complemented by well-appointed office quarters and conference rooms.

Notable features include enhanced cold storage facilities, streamlined workflow for lean manufacturing, and eco-friendly LED lighting systems, underscoring a commitment to sustainability.

With this increased footprint, new product enhancements will be introduced, including the launch of a rapid gene synthesis offering expected in late Q2.

This investment provides a growth runway for the synthetic biology product portfolio and manufacturing arm, supporting the rapidly expanding global DNA synthesis market and related drug development activities.
