McCord Development Invests US$30 million to Open BioHub in Texas, USA


McCord Development makes a investment of US$30 million to significantly expand its biomanufacturing capabilities with the establishment of BioHub Two.


The master-planned biomanufacturing campus covers an area of 45-acre and design for optimal functionality. The campus will encompass 500,000 square feet of space dedicated to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practise) manufacturing, laboratory facilities, and office spaces.

This cutting-edge facility will house a biomanufacturing workforce institute and boast a state-of-the-art, versatile design, complete with advanced industrial bioprocessing equipment. 

The development of 45-acre master-planned biomanufacturing campus marks the initial phase of a comprehensive life science manufacturing, research, and training. 

Moreover, the flexibility of the 45-acre space allows for future subdivision, catering to a wide spectrum of life science needs, ranging from small to large-scale manufacturing requirements.

Nearly US$30 million in infrastructure development is in progress to support the new BioHub Two site. This investment is essential for creating a well-equipped and efficient environment for biomanufacturing and related activities.
