The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) and the Coriell Institute for Medical Research plan to invest US$41 million in the establishment of a state-of-the-art Strategic Innovation Centre (SIC) in Camden.
Features:
The NJ Biomedical SIC will be housed in a cutting-edge facility covering approximately 45,000 square feet at the Lewis L. Coriell Medical Research Centre in Camden.
This state-of-the-art centre will foster academic-industry collaborations, supporting research and innovation in cancer treatment, stem cell applications, epigenetics, and drug development.
The centre will bring together private companies, academic institutions, and entrepreneurs to develop groundbreaking biomedical technologies while strengthening New Jersey’s innovation ecosystem.
The facility will include specialised laboratories, co-working spaces, and offices equipped with advanced resources to support life sciences research and commercialisation.
