Phillips-Medisize Corporation plans to open a new 80,000 square foot manufacturing facility on its Menomonie, Wisconsin campus.
Features:
The manufacturing campus features advanced molding and assembly, cold-chain drug handling, FDA dedicated clinical and pilot build facilities and serialisation technologies for drug delivery and finished combination products.
The manufacturing facility is expected to complete in 2017.
Investment for opening a new 80, 000 square foot manufacturing facility will be driven by signing a new supply contract with a major biopharmaceutical company. It is also expected to employ more than 100 people at full production.
There will be continued expansion due to the new facility and the growth of business will be increased as customers turn to Phillips-Medisize for complete design, development and manufacturing of combination products. This is the latest expansion in the last four years and it reflects escalation of contract design, expansion and manufacturing capabilities to serve the drug delivery, consumable diagnostics, and medical/surgical customers.
