The University of Kansas Cancer Centre Opens New Cancer Research and Care Facility

The University of Kansas Cancer Centre received US$100 million as a gift from The Sunderland Foundation to construct a state-of-the-art cancer centre. The facility will be located in USA.

The new state-of-the-art cancer centre will expand capabilities that aims to enhance its capabilities, attract top doctors from around the world, conduct cutting-edge research, and provide innovative treatments to patients.

The new building will serve as a unified space for expanded cancer care and research. Moreover, the new building will indeed serve as a hub for leading-edge patient care and innovation. 

Furthermore, the new facility will consolidate various aspects of the patient experience under one roof. This means that services such as nutrition, social work, pathology, and imaging will be conveniently accessible in a single location.

The new facility will be developed in phases, with construction on the initial phase expected to begin in the fall of 2024.
