• Community Care Pavilion
Further augmenting this focus on technology and futureready solutions at MEDICAL FAIR ASIA 2018 is the debut of the Community Care Pavilion – a comprehensive showcase focused on medical solutions for the ageing population and remote population which will include geriatric medicine, and products and solutions such as rehabilitative equipment, mobility products using robotic technology, assistive technology, smart fabrics and wearable technology.
• MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE
Beyond the stellar line-up of exhibitors and technologies, MEDICAL FAIR ASIA also serves as a centre of knowledge for industry professionals to exchange ideas and share insights. The MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE is set to return for its second edition, and is a one-day conference and a multidisciplinary exchange forum where participants learn, network, and engage with those passionate about science and sports medicine. The event brings together sports medicine experts, healthcare professionals, athletes and sport techies, and those from sporting goods, sports, and fitness and healthcare industries.
• Medtech SME Workshop 2018
Organised by Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed), the workshop aims to provide start-ups and SMEs with practical guidance on topics such as bench to prototyping, clinical trials and production, commercialisation and post-market surveillance.
The synergistic co-location of the 4th edition of MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA with MEDICAL FAIR ASIA 2018 will see the two exhibitions showcasing the full spectrum of end-to-end solutions for the medical and healthcare sectors. Jointly organised by Messe Düsseldorf Asia and Singapore Precision Engineering & Technology Association (SPETA), MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA will feature an extensive product range from upstream to downstream processes in the medtech sectors - from new materials, components, micro and nanotechnology, testing systems and services, to substance and components for medical technology.
