It supports the clinical manufacturing of a wide range of dosage forms, including oral solids (tablets and capsules), liquids, topicals and films (such as oral dissolving films).
The facility is equipped with a comprehensive suite of formulation technologies, including wet granulation, roller compaction, film coating, spray drying, tableting, capsule filling, bottle filling, and blister packing. These technologies are essential for developing and manufacturing different types of pharmaceutical products.
The facility has been designed with the capability to add nano-milling and hot melt extrusion capabilities, ensuring that it remains up-to-date with the latest advancements in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
It can accommodate flexible batch sizes, which is crucial for adapting to different production requirements. For solid oral products, batch sizes can range from 1,000 doses to 100,000 doses, while for liquids, the range is from 1 litre to 100 litres.
It enhances early-stage development offerings, indicating a commitment to research and development. It also allows the facility to provide clinical supply support from drug discovery to Phase I-III, covering a broad range of pharmaceutical products, including tablets, capsules, liquids, semisolids, and films.
