Jaguar Gene Therapy plans to open new commericial manufacturing facility in North Carolina. It expands stargegic capabilities from process development through commercial GMP production.

The new state-of-the-art gene therapy facility will be constructed in 174,000-square-foot and will be located approximately 20 miles from Jaguar’s existing Process. It is designed to produce various gene therapies for severe genetic diseases.
The new facility will make use of advance technologies and purification techniques to increase product yields while reducing product impurities. In addition, the facility provides to have a greater control of the manufacturing process and ensures highest purity level of products.
After the completion of the new facility, it is expected to create 200 jobs in the next several years.
This new investment quickens development timelines and bring out therapies safely and in faster manner to patients and families.
