Introduction:
Regis Technologies, Inc plans to expand its laboratory facilities for the development of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). The facility will be located in Morton Grove, Illinois.

The expanded facility covers an area of 9,000-square-foot which includes additional process chemistry and analytical laboratories, 14 additional fume hoods, a dedicated ICP-MS suite,added climate-controlled storage, various new kilo-scale reactors and process safety equipment for reaction calorimetry measurements to ensure safe control and scale-up.
This investment widens the capabilities to support the increasing custom pharma services includingvalidation, stability studies, process chemistry, solid state chemistry, analytical development and commercialisation. Moreover, the new laboratory facility also consists of an updated Variable Air Volume (VAV) air system to maintain clean energy-efficient operations.
This expansion doubles the size of the current capacity by enabling scientists in undertaking additional API projects.
It is expected that the laboratory facility will be fully operational inFebruary 2021.
