Synthego plans to construct new Next-Generation Manufacturing Facility. The facility is designed to speed up the manufacturing of cell and gene therapies. The new facility will be located at San Francisco, USA.
Features:
The manufacturing facility occupies a total area of 20,000-square-foot. A new lab covering a total area of 10,000 square feet will be completely dedicated for quality control and research and development activities.
Another 7,000 square feet is designed to support 24/7 parallel batch production allowing infrastructure systems in helping partners achieve early-phase research to process development of clinical research and development to achieve results needed for FDA submissions.
This facility delivers GMP single guide RNA (sgRNA) at scale not only to meet the needs of biopharma partners, but also to drive the industry towards growth and to realize the full potential of rapidly expanding field of cell and gene therapies.
The new factory is expected to begin its operations in late 2022.
